Is this the same thing as Karma Koin?

Yes. Nexon renamed Karma Koin to Nexon Game Card in 2022 — same NX, and old unredeemed Karma Koin PINs still work.

Do I need a US Nexon account?

Made for the Nexon America zone used by the US and Canada. It still redeems elsewhere, but Nexon converts the value to your account currency first, so the NX may not match the face value.

Can I redeem only part of the card?

Yes. Redeem any amount up to the card balance; the rest stays on the PIN.

Does it work in MapleStory M?

No. Nexon's mobile titles bill through the app stores, not NX. This card funds the account NX balance used by MapleStory, Mabinogi and Vindictus.
