What if I enter the wrong Player ID?

The Platinum is credited to whichever account matches the ID you typed. Refunds are not possible once delivery succeeds, so double-check the Player ID before paying.

Does this work for Rainbow Six Siege on PC or console?

No. R6 Mobile and R6 Siege share the IP but run on separate accounts and separate currencies (R6 Credits for Siege, Platinum for Mobile). Platinum bought on this page only credits the mobile build.
